This Week in the NCAA: Providence captures first hockey title

Providence College captured its first-ever men’s ice hockey title on Saturday night thanks to a come-from-behind 4-3 win over Boston University.

Friars goalie Jon Gillies made 49 saves in the title game and was named the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player.
