TAMPA, FL – Madison Cable didn’t score a lot of baskets for Notre Dame on Sunday night – netting only one, in fact – but she sure made it count.
Cable scored late on to give the Fighting Irish the lead in a 66-65 victory over South Carolina.
Jewell Loyd led the way with 22 points, while Brianna Turner and Taya Reimer chipped in 17 and 16 respectively.
South Carolina got 20 off the bench from A’ja Wilson.
John Sadak and Debbie Antonelli called the action on Westwood One Sports.
