American Pharoah goes for the Triple Crown! LIVE on Westwood One Sports

The Belmont--Sat--5PMIn conjunction with NBC Sports, and the Horse Racing Radio Network, Westwood One is pleased to present exclusive, live play-by-play coverage of all three legs of the Triple Crown of Thoroughbred Racing: the Kentucky Derby, the Preakness Stakes and the Belmont Stakes.

The first leg of this year’s Triple Crown—the 141st Kentucky Derby—took place on May 2nd at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky and was won by American Pharoah.

Jockey Victor Espinoza rode American Pharoah to another victory at the Preakness Stakes at Pimlico in Baltimore two weeks later and now American Pharoah is one step away from becoming the first Triple Crown winner since Affirmed in 1978?

Tune in this Saturday at 5 PM for Westwood One’s coverage live from Belmont Park as American Pharoah makes a run at history in the Belmont Stakes. You’ll also be able to hear the race right here on WestwoodOneSports.com as well as on the TuneIn app for iOS and Android.

Mike Penna of the Horse Racing Radio Network anchors the Triple Crown coverage. He is joined by analysts Jude Feld and Kurt Becker. Former jockeys Sean Clancy and Jeff Bloom serve as paddock and trackside reporters, and reigning Miss Connecticut Acacia Courtney rounds out the broadcast crew. Larry Collmus handles the play-by-play of each race.
