KOHLER, WI – High winds, heavy rain and lightning were the only thing that could slow down Jason Day on Friday afternoon at Whistling Straits.
Day was five-under on the day and the co-leader at nine-under overall as play was suspended while he was hitting his approach on the 15th hole. He’ll have a birdie putt from there when play resumes on Saturday morning at 7 AM.
Matt Jones of Australia was also playing well and sits at nine-under through 12 holes of his second round.
