DENVER, CO – Peyton Manning was far from his best, but the Denver defense stepped up once again as the Broncos beat the Minnesota Vikings 23-20 to improve to 4-0 on the season.
Manning was just 17 of 27 for 213 yards with a touchdown and a pair of interceptions, while Ronnie Hillman added a long touchdown run. The Broncos defense did the rest, sacking Teddy Bridgewater seven times – including on a game-clinching forced fumble as time was winding down in the fourth quarter.
Dan Miller and Mark Malone called the action on Westwood One.
