SAN DIEGO, CA – Derek Carr had three touchdown passes as the Oakland Raiders raced out to a big lead and then held on in a 37-29 victory over the San Diego Chargers on Sunday afternoon.
The Raiders led 37-6 after Carr’s touchdown pass to Michael Crabtree early in the third quarter. The Chargers scored the next 23 points unanswered and the result wasn’t secured until Oakland’s Mychal Rivera secured an onside kick attempt with :05 on the clock.
San Diego dropped to 2-5 on the year, while Oakland improved to an even 3-3.
