HOUSTON, TX – 40-year-old Matt Hasselbeck was too sick this week to throw a single pass in practice. When the game started on Thursday night, it didn’t matter.
Subbing for the injured Andrew Luck, Hasselbeck was an efficient 18 of 29 for 213 yards a pair of touchdowns to Andre Johnson as the Indianapolis Colts beat the Houston Texans 27-20 on Thursday night.
The victory was the 16th straight for the Colts over AFC South opponents – setting a new NFL record for consecutive victories over divisional opponents.
