SNF Highlights: Brown’s 3 TDs highlight Steelers’ 45-10 rout of Colts

12/07/2015

Antonio Brown, Markus WheatonPITTSBURGH – Antonio Brown capped yet another superstar performance off with an electrifying punt return touchdown – and classically bad ensuing celebration – as the Pittsburgh Steelers blew out the Indianapolis Colts 45-10 on Sunday night.

The Heinz Field crowd had already enjoyed Brown’s two touchdown receptions when he outdid himself with a 71-yard punt return that put the icing on a big Steelers win. It was his celebration attempt, however, that will be talked about all over Pittsburgh this week.

At full sprint heading into the end zone, Brown attempted to leap onto the goalpost and “stick the landing.” He failed – and earned a 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. In a close game, it might not have been something to smile about. But, with this one well out of reach at that point, a laugher was exactly what it was – in more ways than one.

The Steelers are now 7-5 on the season and are tied with the Jets and Chiefs for the best Wild Card records in the AFC. Indianapolis dropped to 6-6, but remain even with Houston in the AFC South race.

Kevin Kugler and James Lofton called the action on Westwood One.
