HOUSTON – For the 13th time in the past 15 years, the New England Patriots are headed to the postseason.
Tom Brady threw a pair of touchdown passes as New England defeated the Houston Texans 27-6 Sunday night to snap a two-game skid and clinch a playoff berth.
At 11-2, the Patriots have the inside track on a first-round bye and home field advantage after Denver and Cincinnati both lost earlier in the day.
The Texans fell to 6-7 but remain tied with Indianapolis atop the AFC South.
Kevin Kugler and James Lofton called the action on Westwood One.
