OAKLAND, CA – In future Hall of Famer Charles Woodson’s final home game – and maybe the final game for the Raiders in the Bay area – Oakland came away with a 23-20 victory over the San Diego Chargers on Christmas Eve.
Woodson even got a chance to make the difference himself when he entered the game on the Raiders’ final drive on offense. He got the first carry of his entire 18-year career on an end around, but he lost three yards. Two plays later, Sebastian Janikowski kicked the go-ahead field goal for the Raiders before the defense held San Diego at bay to seal the win.
Wayne Larrivee and Tim Ryan called the action on Westwood One.
