AAC Championship Highlights: UConn beats Memphis

ORLANDO, FL – Four starters scored in double figures as UConn used a balanced attack to capture the American Athletic Conference championship on Sunday afternoon with a 72-58 win over Memphis.

Shonn Miller and Sterling Gibbs had 13 points each and Daniel Hamilton and Rodney Purvis added 12 apiece as the Huskies earned the AAC’s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

Tom McCarthy and Donny Marshall called the action on Westwood One Sports.
