Big West Championship Highlights: Hawaii earns first NCAA bid in 14 years


ANAHEIM, CA – For the first time since 2002, the Rainbow Warriors are headed to the NCAA Tournament as Hawaii defeated Long Beach State 64-60 on Saturday night to win the Big West tournament.

Aaron Valdes had 14 points to lead the way for Hawaii. Nick Faust led all scorers with 17 points in defeat for the 49ers.

Dave Ryan and P.J. Carlesimo called the action on Westwood One Sports.
