Conference USA Championship Highlights: Middle Tennessee State outlasts Old Dominion 55-53

03/12/2016

BIRMINGHAM, AL – Reggie Upshaw’s two free throws with 2.9 seconds to go were the decider, as Middle Tennessee State held on to beat Old Dominion 55-33 in the Conference USA Championship.

Sophomore guard Giddy Potts led the Blue Raiders with fourteen points on 4-of-5 shooting from behind the arc.

MTSU will be making their eighth NCAA Tournament appearance and their first since 2013.

Bill Frieder and Dave Barnett called the action on Westwood One Sports.
