First Round Highlights: Northern Iowa Stuns Texas 75-72 With A Half Court Buzzer-Beater

03/19/2016

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK -Northern Iowa’s Paul Jespersen heaved a last-second shot from the center of the court that banked in off the backboard to give the Panthers a heart-stopping 75-72 win against Texas and send UNI into the second round. Isaiah Taylor had 22 for the Longhorns, including what looked to be a game-tying jumper with three seconds left before Jespersen entered the history books.

Tom McCarthy and P.J. Carlesimo called the action on Westwood One Sports.
