Interview: Northern Iowa coach Ben Jacobson talks his team’s experience, challenges of Aggies’ size and athleticism

03/20/2016

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Ben Jacobson and eleventh-seeded Panthers have played a lot of games this season that have come down to the final possession.  That kind of experience and composure his players have can only help when facing similar high-pressure end-game situations in March.  Jacobson also credits his veteran team’s ability to handle playing with fouls.  He knows, though, that finding a way to handle the size and athleticism of third-seeded Texas A&M on Sunday night will be a whole new challenge.

P.J. Carlesimo and Tom McCarthy caught up with Northern Iowa head coach Ben Jacobson ahead of the game.
