Interview: Oklahoma Head Coach Lon Kruger trusts his experienced team to play with poise

03/26/2016

ANAHEIM, CA – Oklahoma head coach Lon Kruger has confidence in his senior-laden squad and their high level of experience heading into Saturday’s West Regional Final at the Honda Center.  If the second-seeded Sooners can replicate the play that carried them to the Elite Eight–with key contributions coming from everyone in the rotation–they will likely earn themselves a trip to the Final Four in Houston.  But to achieve that, they will first have to get past the high-flying Ducks of Oregon–the West’s top-seed–who also just happen to be coached by Kruger’s own protege and close friend, Dana Altman.

Kevin Kugler and Donny Marshall caught up with Lon Kruger ahead of the game.
