Interview: Oklahoma’s Lon Kruger on facing A&M

03/24/2016

ANAHEIM, CA – After a pair of wins last weekend, the Oklahoma Sooners find themselves in the Sweet 16 for the second straight year. It’s the first time OU has made it through the first weekend of the NCAA Tournament in back-to-back years since 2002 and 2003.

A year ago, Oklahoma’s run ended with a regional semifinal defeat to Michigan State. Standing in OU’s way this time is a somewhat familiar foe in former Big 12 and current SEC member Texas A&M.

Our own Kevin Kugler had a chance to talk with Sooners head coach Lon Kruger ahead of the game.
