Interview: Oregon Head Coach Dana Altman expects his team to play with energy, rise to the Hield challenge

03/26/2016

ANAHEIM, CA – Oregon head coach Dana Altman knows how much of a challenge guarding Buddy Hield will be, but he is confident his team will handle the pressure and find a way to compete.  Rebounding will be key for the PAC-12 champions in this contest, to limit the number of second-chance opportunities for the Sooners’ potent offense.  Altman would also like to see the Ducks protect the ball on offense and prevent transition opportunities going the other way.  As Oklahoma head coach Lon Kruger has long been a mentor to Altman, this game will certainly be an emotional one for both coaches.

Kevin Kugler and Donny Marshall caught up with Dana Altman ahead of the game.
