Interview: Seton Hall’s Willard says young team just wants to play

DENVER – Seton Hall coach Kevin Willard says his young team is ready to play. They “just want to play,” in his words while discussing the Pirates’ NCAA second-round game Thursday against Gonzaga.

Entering the tournament on heels of a stunning upset of Villanova in the Big East Tournament championship, No. 6-seed Seton Hall battles No. 11-seed Gonzaga from Pepsi Center in Denver.

Kevin Kugler and Jim Jackson caught up with Willard ahead of the game.
