Interview: Villanova Coach Jay Wright on Kansas matchup

03/26/2016

LOUISVILLE, KY – Villanova head coach Jay Wright knows what it means to the Wildcat fans and program to have “Rollie” Massimino–former coach of the 1985 ‘Nova champion team–sitting behind his bench.  He also knows how fortunate he has been to have his team playing this hot on both ends of the floor through their first three games of the tournament.  Maintaining that kind of shooting proficiency will be tough to duplicate against the Big 12-champion Jayhawks.  Likewise, guarding Perry Ellis–both inside and outside the key–might be the toughest challenge the Wildcats will face all tournament.

Ian Eagle and P.J. Carlesimo caught up with Jay Wright ahead of the game.
