First Round Highlights: Butler uses late surge to edge Texas Tech

RALEIGH, N.C. – Up by four with less than four minutes left to play, the Butler Bulldogs went on a 9-0 run spanning three minutes and 39 seconds to close out a first-round win over the Texas Tech Red Raiders 71-61.

Kellen Dunham led the charge for the Bulldogs with a game-high 23 points, including five made 3-pointers.

John Sadak and Eric Montross called the action on Westwood One Sports.
