NASHVILLE, Tenn. – In a meeting of SEC regular season co-champions, Kentucky outlasted Texas A&M 82-77 in the Final of the SEC Tournament, locking up the second straight conference tournament title for the Wildcats. It is their 29th total SEC Tournament crown in program history.
A three-pointer by Derek Willis put Kentucky ahead for good with 1:01 left to play in the extra session. Willis finished with 10 points. Tyler Ulis led the Wildcats with 30 points, playing all 45 minutes.
Danuel House, who tied the score with seconds left in regulation, totaled a career-high 32 points for Texas A&M in the losing effort.
