Next up, Quentin Hillsman’s squad faces the toughest challenge of them all, as the Orange will attempt to spoil three-time defending champion UConn’s run at 38-0 perfection on Tuesday night.
Alexis Peterson paced the Orange with 18 points while dishing out 6 assists.
Huskies forward Talia Walton led all scorers with 29 points behind a red-hot 8-of-9 shooting from the beyond the arc.
