SAN JOSE, CA – The Pittsburgh Penguins beat the San Jose Sharks 3-1 on Sunday night capture the Stanley Cup in six games.
It’s the fourth championship in Penguins franchise history.
Sidney Crosby had a pair of assists and was awarded the Conn Smythe Trophy as the most outstanding player of the playoffs.
Crosby had 19 points, including six goals, in leading the Penguins to the second championship during his 11-year career.
