GLENDALE, AZ – New England was without the suspended Tom Brady and the injured Rob Gronkowski, but it didn’t matter as the Patriots pulled off a 23-21 win over the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday night.
Jimmy Garoppolo was solid in his first NFL start, throwing for 264 yards and a touchdown.
Chandler Catanzaro had a chance to win it for the Cardinals but saw his 47-yard field goal attempt hook wide with time winding down.
Kevin Kugler and James Lofton called the action on Westwood One.
