LOS ANGELES, CA – Wayne Gretzky was the head coach and a former Los Angeles King was named MVP as the Metropolitan Division All Stars won the 2017 NHL All Star Game, beating the Pacific stars 4-3 in the championship game.
Former King and current Philadelphia Flyer Wayne Simmonds was named the most valuable player. Gretzky was only the head coach after John Tortorella of the Columbus Blue Jackets had to miss the game to tend to a family matter.
Kenny Albert and Joe Micheletti called the action on NBC Sports Radio and Westwood One.
