INDIANAPOLIS, IN – Second-seeded Louisville overcame a sluggish start to hold off fifteenth-seeded Jacksonville State 78-63.
The Gamecocks came out of the gate red-hot, scoring the game’s first eight points, before Rick Pitino’s squad finally settled into a rhythm and pulled away.
“All-Name” First Teamers, Mangok Mathiang and Norbertas Giga, led the Cardinals’ and Gamecocks’ attacks with 18 and 30 points, respectively.
