PHILADELPHIA, PA – Paced by 18 points from star freshman Miye Oni, third-seeded Yale avenged two regular season defeats to their rivals, topping second-seeded Harvard 73-71.
The victory earned the Bulldogs a spot in the inaugural Ivy League Championship game on Sunday, where they will take on top-seeded Princeton for a chance to return to the NCAA Tournament for the second year in a row.
Scott Graham and Kelly Tripucka called the action on Westwood One Sports.
