GREENVILLE, S.C. – Down by 10 points early in the second half, seventh-seeded South Carolina rebounded and upset No. 2-seed Duke 88-81 on Sunday night in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. The Gamecocks advance to the Sweet 16 for the first time in program history.
Sindarius Thornwell propelled South Carolina to victory with 24 points.
