OAKLAND, CA – Sometimes the margin between winning and losing in the NFL can be as thin as a piece of paper – or an index card, in this case.
The Dallas Cowboys defeated the Oakland Raiders 20-17 on Sunday night after their go-ahead drive was extended following a fourth-down measurement involving a folded over index card. The Cowboys then iced the game when Derek Carr’s dive towards the end zone for the winning score ended in heartbreak as Carr fumbled through the end zone for a touchback.
Kevin Kugler and Jason Taylor called the action on Westwood One.
