ATLANTA, GA – Senior Ben Richardson blew past his season average of 6.4 points per game, pouring in 23 off of 6-of-7 shooting from behind the arc, to lead the 11th-seeded Loyola-Chicago Ramblers past the 9th-seeded Kansas State Wildcats 78-62. With the victory, the Missouri Valley Conference champions punch the first ticket to the Final Four–marking their first such appearance since winning the national championship in 1963. Brandon Gaudin and John Thompson called the action on Westwood One.
