NCAA Tournament Women’s Elite 8 Recap: Mississippi State, Louisville advance to Final Four


KANSAS CITY, MO — After a disappointing loss in the National Championship Game last year, Mississippi State is headed back to the Final Four. The Bulldogs, the top-seed in the Kansas City Regional, held off third-seeded UCLA, 89-73, behind Teaira McCowan’s 23 points and 21 rebounds. Louisville will join Mississippi State in Columbus next weekend after the Cardinals blew out sixth-seeded Oregon State, 76-43, in Lexington, KY.
