NCAA Frozen Four Recap: Minnesota-Duluth, Notre Dame skate into Saturday’s final


SAINT PAUL, MN – Senior Jake Evans scored his second goal of the Frozen Four with five seconds left in the 3rd Period to lead Notre Dame to a thrilling 4-3 comeback victory over Michigan. The Fighting Irish return to the national championship game for the first time since 2008, when they lost to Boston College. This time around they will face last year’s runner-up, Minnesota-Duluth, in Saturday’s final. The Bulldogs will be looking to claim their first national title since 2011 after they held on to defeat Ohio State 2-1 in Friday’s first semifinal.
