MINNEAPOLIS, MN – A pair of timely turnovers and a solid if not spectacular offensive performance was all the New Orleans Saints needed to capture a 30-20 victory over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday night.
The Saints recovered an Adam Thielen fumble late in the first half to stop a Minnesota drive deep in the red zone and never looked back, taking a 17-13 lead into the half thanks to Alvin Kamara’s two touchdowns.
P.J. Williams added an interception return for a touchdown in the second half to increase the lead.
Tom McCarthy and Jason Taylor called the action on Westwood One.
