College Basketball Highlights: Georgetown boosts resume with win at Marquette

MILWAUKEE, WI – James Akinjo scored 25 points and Mac McClung added 23 as the Georgetown Hoyas defeated the Marquette Golden Eagles 86-84 on Saturday afternoon.

The win is a big boost for the NCAA Tournament hopes of Patrick Ewing’s Hoyas, while the loss cost Marquette a share of the Big East regular season title.

John Sadak and Austin Croshere called the action on Westwood One Sports.
