GREEN BAY, WI – Despite three second half interceptions from quarterback Tom Brady, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the Green Bay Packers 31-26 to win the NFC Championship Game at Lambeau Field on Sunday afternoon.
Leading 21-10 at halftime and 28-10 early in the second half, the Bucs held off a Packers comeback attempt that got as close as 28-23 in the third quarter.
With the win, the Buccaneers will become the first team to appear in a Super Bowl in its home stadium.
