TAMPA, FL – Seven. That’s the number of Super Bowl victories for Tom Brady following the Buccaneers 31-9 blowout win over the Chiefs in Super Bowl LV at Raymond James Stadium on Sunday night.
After a pair of punts to start the game and an early 3-0 deficit, Brady and the Bucs took over, scoring 21 points over the final 16 minutes of the first half to lead 21-6 at halftime.
An early second half touchdown run from Leonard Fournette put the “home” team in front 28-9, and the Bucs never looked back.
Tom Brady, who was named Super Bowl MVP for the fifth time in his career, completed 21 of 29 passes for 201 yards in the win. Two of his three touchdown passes went to tight end Rob Gronkowski.
