PITTSBURGH, PA – Chris Boswell’s late field goal was the difference as the Pittsburgh Steelers survived a big rally from the Chicago Bears in a 29-27 victory at Heinz Field on Monday night.
The Steelers led 20-6, before Chicago came all the way back to take a 27-26 lead on Justin Fields’ touchdown pass to Darnell Mooney. Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers offense responded with a quick drive to put Boswell in position for the go-ahead kick. Pittsburgh held on to win as Cairo Santos’ 65-yard field goal attempt as time expired fell well short.
Kevin Kugler and Trent Green called the action on Westwood One.
