NFL Highlights: Rams blow 24-point lead, but edge Bucs 30-27

01/23/2022

TAMPA, FL – Leading 27-3 late in the third quarter, the Los Angeles Rams appeared to have an NFC Championship Game berth easily secured.

But that was not the case. Helped by three Rams turnovers and a missed field goal, Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers came storming back to tie the game at 27 with 42 seconds left to play in the fourth quarter.

That was enough time for Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp to lead the Rams into field goal range, and Rams kicker Matt Gay kicked a game-winning 30-yard field goal as time expired.

The Rams will host the 49ers in next Sunday’s NFC Championship Game.

Dave Pasch and Ross Tucker called the action on Westwood One.
