INGLEWOOD, CA – Down by 10 points entering the fourth quarter, the Los Angeles Rams rallied to defeat the San Francisco 49ers 20-17 in the NFC Championship Game.
Trailing 17-7 after 45 minutes, the Rams scored 13 unanswered points capped by a Matt Gay 30-yard field goal with less than two minutes to play. On the 49ers ensuing possession, Rams linebacker Travin Howard intercepted Jimmy Garoppolo to seal the victory.
