NEW ORLEANS, LA – The Kansas Jayhawks are atop the college basketball world after a 72-69 win over the North Carolina Tar Heels. The Jayhawks trailed by as many as 16 points, and with the win successfully completed the largest comeback in National Championship Game history.
Led by 15 points from Jalen Wilson and David McCormack, Kansas outscored North Carolina 47-29 in the second half en route to its fourth national title in program history.
