MINNEAPOLIS, MN – Trailing 23-16 early in the third quarter, the Minnesota Vikings scored 17 of the final 20 points to defeat the New England Patriots 33-26 on Thanksgiving night.
The strong Vikings finish started with a Kene Nwangwu 97-yard kickoff return for a touchdown to tie the game at 23 and ended with a 15-yard touchdown pass from Kirk Cousins to Adam Thielen with 9:34 left to play in the fourth quarter.
Cousins finished with 299 passing yards and three touchdowns, while Patriots quarterback Mac Jones threw for a career-high 382 yards.
