TAMPA, FL – Trailing 16-3 late in the 4th quarter amidst an offensive struggle, Tom Brady and the Buccaneers scored 14 unanswered points in the final three minutes to defeat the New Orleans Saints, 17-16, on Monday night.
Brady found Cade Otton on a 1-yard touchdown strike to get within six points with 3:00 remaining before throwing the game-winning touchdown to Rachaad White with just three seconds to play.
The victory marked Brady’s 44th comeback win in the fourth quarter or overtime, breaking a tie with Peyton Manning for the most such wins in NFL history.
