LANDOVER, MD – Kayvon Thibodeaux set the tone for the Giants’ defense, coming up with twelve tackles– three of which for a loss–to go along with a strip-sack wherein he also scooped the fumble himself to score New York’s first touchdown.
Graham Gano hit two 50-yard field goals in the 2nd half on a windy night, and Darnay Holmes evaded a flag for apparent pass interference in the end zone on the Commanders’ last shot on 4th down in the closing seconds, as the Giants held on for a hard-fought 20-12 win on the road.
Ryan Radtke and Mike Mayock called the action on Westwood One.
