PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Philadelphia Eagles used a steady ground attack to defeat the San Francisco 49ers, 31-7, in the NFC Championship Game on Sunday afternoon.
After scoring two late second quarter touchdowns to lead 21-7 at halftime, the Eagles never looked back in front of their home crowd.
Miles Sanders had a pair of rushing scores, while Jalen Hurts and Boston Scott also contributed one touchdown each on the ground. The Eagles are headed back to the Super Bowl for the first time since 2018, when they defeated the New England Patriots.
