OMAHA, NE – The Tennessee Volunteers are the national champions of college baseball for the first time in school history, after defeating Texas A&M by a final score of 6-5 in the decisive game of the best-of-three finals at the Men’s College World Series.
It marks the first time in a quarter century that the number-one overall seed has won the NCAA baseball tournament.
