ST. LOUIS, MO — Powered by a three-goal third period, Western Michigan defeated Boston University, 6-2, in the Men’s Ice Hockey National Championship Game on Saturday night at Enterprise Center.
The title is the first National Championship in Broncos program history.
WMU sophomore Owen Michaels was named the Frozen Four’s Most Outstanding Player after scoring four goals in two games, including two in the title tilt.
