Every week, Pro Football Hall of Famer and Westwood One Sunday Night Football analyst James Lofton sits down with a fellow Hall of Famer “Legend to Legend.”
In the latest installment, James talks with Chicago Bears great Gale Sayers, who starred for five seasons in the late 1960s before a knee injury cut short his career.
In his stellar 1965 rookie season, Sayers scored 22 touchdowns — including six in one game against the San Francisco 49ers.
Gale Sayers was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1977.
