NCAAW Sioux Falls Regional Highlights: Syracuse topples Tennessee for first Final Four berth


SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Alexis Peterson scored 29 points on 11-of-20 shooting to help send No. 4-seed Syracuse to its first Final Four, defeating No. 7-seed Tennessee, 89-67. Briana Butler tallied 18 points for the Orange, hitting six 3-pointers to upend the Lady Vols.

Syracuse earned a matchup with Washington, another first-time Final Four participant, in a national semifinal game next Sunday in Indianapolis.

Dick Fain and Brenda VanLengen called the action on Westwood One Sports.
