NEW YORK, NY – Penn State guard Tony Carr was one rebound short of a triple-double, scoring 15 points to go along with 14 assists to lead the fourth-seeded Nittany Lions to a 82-66 victory over second-seeded Utah. Lamar Stevens and Josh Reaves scored 28 and 15 points, respectively, for the State College school, which captured its second NIT Title on Thursday night. Junior guard Sedrick Barefield led the Utes with 22 points off of 8-of-11 shooting–including 6-of-8 from beyond the arc–in the losing effort.
